Become a David Delegate!

Who Can Become a Delegate?

Anyone who attests to being a DFLer, lives in MN40B and will be eligible to vote in the General Elections on November 5, 2024 can become a delegate for the 40B DFL Convention!

What is a Delegate?

A Delegate is a DFLer who attended their Precinct Caucus and was elected by their caucus peers to attend the MN40B DFL Convention. Among other things, Delegates vote to decide which candidate in MN40B receives the DFL Endorsement going into the Primary Election and General Elections!

  • Pre-register here to attend your Precinct Caucus in order to become a delegate: forms.gle/eJ2RQyzdL71LjUSt9

    • While you may register in-person at the Precinct Caucus and pre-registration is not required, it is highly recommended.

Why is being a Delegate Important?

A Delegate has the opportunity to help decide who will receive the DFL Endorsement this election cycle. It is important that MN40B DFLers unite around a strong candidate after this Convention so that we can coalesce around what matters: getting out the vote for the General Elections.

At the Convention, Delegates are also able to advocate and promote policies that they want included in the DFL Platform (e.g. the policies that the DFL will support this election cycle).

Lastly, being a Delegate is an enriching way to get involved in the democratic process, meet other DFLers, and have a hand in shaping the party and the state!
