About Me

My family has been living in our district for three generations. From cradle to college, I was raised in Roseville. I attended Roseville Public Schools, where I dove headfirst into music (both orchestra and choir), theater, speech and debate! I attended St. Olaf College where I studied music, theater, and ethics, and then moved to New York City to pursue a career in the arts!

When the 2016 elections came and went, I realized it was time for a change in the trajectory of my career. While I continued to perform, I spent most of my free time getting involved in local NYC politics and organizing around holding politicians accountable for breaking their campaign promises. After lots of hard work and lean meals, the 2018 Elections came. Our movement to primary bad-faith actors in the New York Democratic Party was a great success, removing 6 of 8 individuals who ran as Democrats, but once in office voted with Republicans. It was then that I realized there was a real chance to do some good if I were to pivot careers entirely.

I moved back home to Roseville and I graduated with my Masters Degree in the Spring of 2021 from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Later that year, I began working at a local law firm, supporting their litigation team and eventually transitioning to a role in which I support the firm’s pro bono program. I also met my now-wife, Haylee! Haylee and I recently moved to Shoreview, just north of the Roseville border, where we enjoy our new home.

In my spare time, I love playing with our two cats, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, playing Dungeons & Dragons, writing, emotionally investing far too much into the Minnesota Vikings and conducting DIY house projects!

I look forward to speaking with you to learn about your story and your passions!
